From 1962 through 2008, the International Personnel Association operated as an association of global Human Resources Executives who have significant global responsibilities, and served as a forum for them to exchange ideas, knowledge and best practices.

The International Personnel Association ceased activity in December 2008 and officially closed its doors in May 2009.

The Board extends their thanks to the membership as well as past members and board members for their valuable contributions to the association over the years.
